The CARIS web club was a series of after school sessions that took place throughout January and February 2008 at Cuthbertson Street Primary School, Glasgow. Over a dozen children participated. The focus was to explore and add to ideas and contents presented on the current CARIS website (http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/caris/).
Each session began with some warm up games - something fun that made the children feel at ease with both each other and the session workers. Then the group would look at developing content with a specific media format in mind: photography, video, web design (which included producing background artwork, logos, buttons and text), story boarding and interviewing each other.
This site showcases some of the content produced by the children.
